Lagana' s love of dolls, exciting fabrics & fine woods has jined with her skills in bookbinding, cabinet making, & museum framing to produce these hand crafted all wood trunks. The fabrics are selected for their beautiful designs & matiched to the lnad rubbed & laquered woods. Then the trunks are trimmed with just the right shade of leather & fitted with solid brass. Each trunk is signed & numbered in limited editions. Many are one of a kind. Only the trunks shown here are in stock. Others are custom made. |
Birch & Turquoise Foliage Trunk for 17" doll. The trunk body and drawers sides & bottoms are birch plywood. The fabric has been treated to resist stains. All but the catches on the front are solid brass. The solid brass drawer knobs were $1.00@ wholesale. The trunk has a grossgrain ribbon tie & a brass rail for hanging dollclothes (hangers included). The drawer interiors are sanded and laquered with Lagana's label. All joins are glued & nailed. The banding is rose calf skin.
